Bird Feeder, Squirrel Proof

This is the bird feeder that we use for sunflower chips and raw peanut halves

We have used this feeder and another just like it but in red color for many years. The lid on top is extra and larger than the original lid which was the same size as the base. The larger lid prevents squirrels from leaning over and trying to get onto the bird feeder. They almost always slide off onto the ground. Sometimes, however, they do manage to grab something and hang on. So I will let them sit there and eat. It doesn't hurt anything.
